Responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual and business tax returns using ProSystem fx and Lacerte software
- Assist clients with IRS correspondence and tax documentation organization
- Conduct tax research using CCH and Thomson Reuters resources
- Collaborate with senior associates to resolve complex tax scenarios
- Maintain compliance with IRS regulations and firm quality standards
- Participate in continuous tax law update training sessions
- Support audit preparation and documentation requests
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to learn tax software and regulations through training
- Professional demeanor and client-focused mindset
- Valid California driver's license for client meetings
