Responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership federal and state tax returns (Forms 1040, 1120, 1065).
- Conduct in-depth tax research and analyze complex tax codes to ensure full compliance with current regulations.
- Assist clients with proactive tax planning strategies to optimize their financial positions.
- Perform financial statement analysis and reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding tax filings, changes in law, and tax inquiries.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in a public accounting or corporate tax environment.
- CPA or EA certification preferred (or currently pursuing certification).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
