Responsibilities
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns for individual and corporate clients
- Conduct tax research and compliance analysis using authoritative resources
- Develop strategic tax planning recommendations to optimize client outcomes
- Collaborate with audit and advisory teams on integrated financial solutions
- Maintain meticulous client documentation and ensure regulatory adherence
- Utilize tax software (ProSystem fx, CCH Axcess) for efficient processing
- Participate in continuing education to maintain CPA/EA credentials
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1-3 years of tax preparation experience (public or corporate)
- Active CPA license or progress toward CPA/EA certification
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of IRS regulations and Florida tax codes
