Responsibilities
- Prepare and review complex individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns
- Advise clients on tax planning strategies and compliance requirements
- Manage tax audits and IRS correspondence
- Utilize ProSystem fx and Lacerte software for efficient processing
- Collaborate with senior staff on client deliverables
- Research evolving tax legislation and implement changes
- Maintain accurate client documentation and workflow systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA candidates strongly preferred)
- 2+ years of tax preparation experience in public accounting
- Proficiency in tax software (ProSystem fx, Lacerte, or UltraTax)
- Deep understanding of federal/state tax regulations
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in fast-paced environment
