Responsibilities
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and corporations
- Conduct tax research and advise clients on complex tax regulations
- Develop tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities and optimize financial outcomes
- Manage client relationships and communicate tax implications clearly
- Collaborate with audit and consulting teams on integrated financial solutions
- Ensure compliance with IRS regulations and GA state tax codes
- Utilize tax software (e.g., Lacerte, ProSystem fx) for efficient processing
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- CPA license or active pursuit strongly preferred
- 2+ years of tax preparation experience in public accounting
- Expert knowledge of federal and GA state tax codes
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills with clients at all levels
- Attention to detail with zero tolerance for errors
