- Prepare and file complex federal, state, and local tax returns for individual and corporate clients
- Conduct tax research and provide strategic tax planning recommendations
- Manage audit support and IRS correspondence with precision
- Maintain accurate client records using ProSystem fx and Lacerte software
- Collaborate with senior partners on tax compliance strategies
- Train junior staff on tax preparation protocols and software proficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of public accounting tax preparation experience
- Expert knowledge of IRS tax codes and state regulations
- Advanced proficiency in tax software (ProSystem fx, Lacerte, or UltraTax)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent client communication and presentation abilities
