- Advise clients on tax planning strategies and deductions
- Utilize tax software (ProSeries, Lacerte) for efficient processing
- Review financial statements and identify optimization opportunities
- Maintain accurate client documentation and audit trails
- Collaborate with senior tax professionals on complex cases
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or CPA certification
- 2+ years of tax preparation experience
- Strong knowledge of IRS regulations and Virginia tax codes
- Proficiency in tax software and MS Office Suite
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional communication and client service skills
- Flexibility to work 20-30 hours/week with adjustable schedule
