- Conduct tax research and ensure compliance with evolving tax regulations
- Assist with tax audits and provide documentation support to authorities
- Develop tax planning strategies to optimize client financial outcomes
- Collaborate with senior tax professionals on complex tax cases
- Utilize tax software (e.g., ProSystem fx, Lacerte) for efficient processing
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation in compliance with IRS standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 1-3 years of tax preparation experience with public accounting firm
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
