Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 Innovation Strategy, aligning with long-term business objectives and market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional teams in identifying, validating, and scaling emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to anticipate industry shifts and competitive threats
- Manage a $5M+ innovation portfolio, allocating resources to high-impact R&D initiatives
- Present innovation roadmaps and ROI projections to executive stakeholders and board members
- Foster a culture of experimentation through hackathons, innovation challenges, and startup partnerships
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, product development, or technology consulting with proven 5+ year planning experience
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies and their commercial applications
- Track record of launching disruptive products or services in competitive markets
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience in scenario planning and market forecasting
- Strong stakeholder management abilities across technical and non-technical audiences
- Certification in innovation management (e.g., PDMA, CIMP) or equivalent experience
