Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage general ledger functions including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable operations to ensure timely payment collection and vendor management
- Assist in budget preparation, variance analysis, and financial forecasting
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software (Sage 100 experience preferred)
- CPA or CPA candidate strongly preferred
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
