Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger and perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes efficiently and accurately.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Assist with external audits and internal control reviews.
- Prepare and process journal entries and accruals.
- Provide support to the Finance Director and management on ad-hoc financial projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is a plus but not required.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
