Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and on time.
- Assist with the month-end and year-end close procedures, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Prepare financial statements and variance analyses to support management reporting and strategic planning.
- Conduct regular audits of financial data and internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual reviews, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) to streamline financial processes and reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 3-5 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
