Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close procedures
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and accuracy
- Process payroll bi-weekly with direct deposit options
- Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Assist with tax preparation and documentation for federal/state filings
- Implement and improve internal financial controls and reporting systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience with monthly close responsibilities
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software (Sage 100 a plus)
- CPA certification or actively pursuing preferred
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with multi-state payroll processing
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
