In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining our financial integrity, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and supporting the strategic goals of our organization.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and reconcile financial statements, trial balances, and general ledger accounts.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
- Support the external audit process by providing requested documentation and schedules.
- Process payroll transactions and manage payroll tax filings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA candidate is preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
