Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable operations, ensuring timely processing and accuracy.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations to maintain data integrity.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and variance analysis.
- Prepare and file state and federal tax returns, ensuring full compliance with tax laws.
- Support budget preparation and financial forecasting by providing accurate reporting to management.
- Collaborate with external auditors and internal stakeholders to resolve financial discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in general accounting or a similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite).
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
