Responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns ensuring compliance with IRS and state regulations
- Conduct tax research and provide strategic guidance on complex tax scenarios
- Manage client relationships and serve as primary point of contact for tax-related inquiries
- Collaborate with audit and advisory teams to deliver integrated financial solutions
- Stay current on tax legislation changes and implement best practices
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to firm quality control standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of tax preparation experience in public accounting or corporate tax
- Proficiency with tax software (e.g., Lacerte, ProSystem fx) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Active CPA license or progress toward certification
