Responsibilities
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns for corporate and individual clients
- Conduct tax research and compliance analysis using authoritative sources
- Develop strategic tax planning solutions to optimize client financial outcomes
- Lead client consultations and deliver actionable tax advisory recommendations
- Collaborate with audit and consulting teams on integrated financial solutions
- Manage tax documentation and ensure adherence to IRS regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MST preferred)
- 3+ years of public accounting tax experience with Big 4 or regional firm
- Expertise in corporate, partnership, and individual taxation
- Proficiency in tax software (e.g., ProSystem fx, Lacerte) and MS Office Suite
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Active California CPA license or eligibility to obtain within 6 months
