Responsibilities
- Prepare and file federal, state, and international tax returns for corporate clients
- Conduct tax research and provide strategic advice on M&A transactions and restructuring
- Manage IRS audits and respond to tax authority inquiries
- Lead tax provision calculations under ASC 740
- Mentor junior associates on tax software proficiency and compliance protocols
- Develop client relationships through proactive tax planning consultations
Qualifications
- CPA license required (active)
- 5+ years of Big 4 or mid-tier public accounting experience
- Expertise in corporate tax compliance and S corporations
- Proficient in tax software (Lacerte, ProSystem fx)
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
- Strong communication skills for client presentations
- Master's degree in Taxation preferred
