- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with audit-ready documentation
- Develop and maintain internal financial controls and SOX compliance procedures
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual financial reviews
- Implement process improvements using automation tools like QuickBooks Online
- Provide financial insights to support strategic business decisions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public and private sectors
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Proven experience with remote team collaboration tools (Slack, Asana)
