Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with GAAP compliance
- Manage multi-state tax compliance filings for corporate clients
- Lead month-end closing processes and reconciliations
- Develop and implement financial forecasting models
- Collaborate with audit teams during external reviews
- Maintain internal controls documentation
- Mentor junior accounting staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and NetSuite
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP/Pivot Table expertise
- Maryland tax compliance experience required
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Remote work experience preferred
