Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead tax preparation and filing processes for multi-state operations
- Implement and optimize internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Maintain accurate fixed asset ledgers and depreciation schedules
- Train junior staff on accounting software and compliance protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in corporate settings
- Expertise in QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, and advanced Excel functions
- Proven track record of managing multi-state tax compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in financial reporting
- Experience implementing SOX controls and internal audit procedures
