Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end closes and financial statement preparation
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial reports for executive leadership and external stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, IRS regulations, and industry-specific accounting standards
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting accuracy and efficiency
- Coordinate with external auditors during annual reviews and tax season
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks Enterprise and Excel advanced functions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with remote work exposure
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise and Microsoft Excel (VBA/macros)
- Deep understanding of GAAP, tax compliance, and internal controls
- Proven ability to manage complex financial reporting cycles and deadlines
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication abilities for cross-functional collaboration
- Experience with SaaS accounting platforms and cloud-based workflows
