Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting for diverse portfolio of Sacramento businesses
- Prepare and analyze financial statements with GAAP compliance focus
- Lead month-end closing processes and reconciliations
- Develop and implement internal controls for financial risk mitigation
- Collaborate on tax preparation and audit support initiatives
- Maintain accurate client accounting systems and documentation
- Provide strategic financial insights to support business decisions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Expertise in QuickBooks Online and NetSuite platforms
- Proven track record with multi-state tax compliance
- Advanced Excel skills and data visualization proficiency
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Remote work experience with demonstrated self-discipline
