Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with detailed variance reporting
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance
- Conduct reconciliations for bank accounts, investments, and corporate credit cards
- Oversee tax preparation processes and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard financial assets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and ERP systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Proficiency in GAAP, FASB, and IRS tax regulations
- Advanced expertise in QuickBooks Online, Excel, and accounting software
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in a remote environment
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong written/verbal communication skills for stakeholder reporting
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance a plus
