Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close processes
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements with GAAP compliance
- Lead reconciliation of bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Implement process improvements using QuickBooks Online and Excel automation
- Ensure SOX compliance and maintain internal control documentation
- Support audit preparation and respond to stakeholder inquiries
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Excel, and accounting software
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Proven experience with month-end close and reconciliations
