We are seeking a visionary Senior Release Engineer to lead the deployment strategy for our upcoming v2026 product suite. As the v2026 Release Lead, you will own the end-to-end lifecycle of our flagship products, ensuring zero-downtime deployments and seamless integration across global markets. You will bridge the gap between development and operations, implementing cutting-edge CI/CD pipelines that scale with our ambition.
Responsibilities
- Lead v2026 Deployment Strategy: Architect and execute the release roadmap for the v2026 version, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality standards across all environments.
- Automate CI/CD Pipelines: Design and maintain robust automation workflows using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or ArgoCD to reduce manual intervention and human error.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Manage infrastructure provisioning using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation to ensure reproducible environments.
- Release Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, DevOps, Product) to synchronize release schedules and mitigate risks.
- Monitoring & Incident Response: Implement comprehensive monitoring solutions (Prometheus, Grafana) to detect and resolve production issues instantly during major releases.
- Security Compliance: Ensure all release artifacts meet strict security and compliance standards (SOC2, HIPAA) before going live.
Qualifications
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in Release Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering with a proven track record of managing major version releases.
- Technical Skills: Deep expertise in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Scripting: Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go for automating deployment scripts and infrastructure management.
- Cloud Mastery: Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and serverless architectures.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Problem Solving: A proactive mindset with the ability to troubleshoot complex, multi-tiered system failures under pressure.
