Responsibilities
- Architect and design scalable quantum circuitry for superconducting qubits.
- Lead cross-functional teams in optimizing qubit coherence times and gate fidelities.
- Develop error mitigation strategies for near-term quantum devices (NISQ).
- Collaborate with theoretical physicists to translate abstract algorithms into physical implementations.
- Oversee the integration of quantum control systems with classical high-performance computing clusters.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of experience in quantum computing, superconducting circuits, or atomic physics.
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics, specifically decoherence and error correction codes.
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and hardware description languages (e.g., Verilog, LabVIEW).
- Strong track record of publications in peer-reviewed quantum physics journals.
