Job Description
Are you ready to define the technological landscape of tomorrow? Nexus Horizon Labs is pioneering the next generation of artificial intelligence, and we are seeking a visionary Senior Quantum AI Engineer to join our elite R&D division. In this role, you will bridge the gap between quantum mechanics and machine learning, designing algorithms that are impossible on classical hardware.
Our mission is to solve the world's most complex optimization problems by leveraging the raw power of quantum computing. If you are passionate about the future and possess the technical prowess to build the architecture of 2026, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement quantum machine learning models using Qiskit and Cirq frameworks to solve complex optimization problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers to develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms.
- Optimize quantum circuit designs to maximize qubit coherence and minimize error rates.
- Lead the migration of existing deep learning pipelines to quantum-enabled environments.
- Research and publish findings on novel quantum algorithms for natural language processing and computer vision.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the technical roadmap for future hardware integration.
Qualifications
- PhD or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on Quantum Computing or AI.
- 5+ years of experience in software development with strong proficiency in Python, C++, and CUDA.
- Hands-on experience with at least one major quantum computing framework (e.g., IBM Qiskit, Google Cirq, Rigetti PyQuil).
- Deep understanding of linear algebra, probability theory, and statistical mechanics.
- Proven track record of publishing in top-tier AI/Quantum conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, APS).
- Experience with cloud-based quantum computing platforms (AWS Braket, Azure Quantum) is highly preferred.
