Responsibilities
- Architect Solutions: Design and deploy scalable hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for AI model training and inference.
- Hardware Integration: Collaborate with quantum hardware engineers to optimize software stacks for emerging quantum processors.
- Mentorship: Guide junior architects and data scientists in quantum best practices and software engineering methodologies.
- R&D Leadership: Conduct research on qubit stability, error correction, and algorithmic efficiency to push the boundaries of current technology.
- System Optimization: Oversee the integration of AI models into cloud-based quantum environments, ensuring low-latency performance.
Qualifications
- Education: Ph.D. or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on Quantum Computing or Artificial Intelligence.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years specifically focused on Quantum Computing (Qiskit, Cirq, PyQuil) and Machine Learning.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, C++, and Rust; deep understanding of linear algebra and quantum mechanics principles.
- Problem Solving: Strong track record of solving complex algorithmic problems in high-stakes environments.
- Communication: Excellent ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse stakeholders.
