Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll for 500+ employees semi-monthly using ADP Workforce Now
- Manage garnishments, benefits deductions, and tax filings with 100% accuracy
- Conduct payroll audits and reconcile discrepancies within 48 hours
- Respond to payroll inquiries from employees and HR stakeholders
- Stay current on FLSA, ACA, and state-specific payroll regulations
- Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding and terminations
- Generate payroll reports for executive leadership and external auditors
- Lead payroll system optimization projects quarterly
Qualifications
- 5+ years of US multi-state payroll processing experience
- ADP Workforce Now certification or equivalent expertise
- Deep knowledge of FLSA, garnishment laws, and state tax regulations
- Proficient in Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, macros)
- Proven ability to manage confidential payroll data with discretion
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
- Experience with remote team collaboration tools (Slack, Zoom)
