Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end payroll process for over 500 employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain strict compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations, including FLSA.
- Manage and audit payroll data within ADP Workforce Now, resolving discrepancies immediately.
- Prepare and file quarterly and annual payroll tax returns accurately.
- Collaborate with the HR department to interpret compensation policies and resolve complex payroll inquiries.
- Generate detailed payroll reports for executive leadership and internal audits.
- Implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency and reduce errors.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in payroll processing.
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) is highly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS platforms.
- Strong working knowledge of payroll tax laws in Arizona and the United States.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to handle sensitive financial data with confidentiality.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex payroll issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is a plus.
