Responsibilities
- Process and maintain accurate payroll for 500+ employees across 15 states
- Manage tax filings, garnishments, and benefits deductions
- Implement and optimize payroll systems (ADP Workforce Now preferred)
- Conduct payroll audits and resolve discrepancies
- Collaborate with HR on timekeeping and new hire onboarding
- Prepare payroll reports for leadership and compliance
- Stay current on federal/state payroll regulations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS systems
- CPP or FPC certification strongly preferred
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot tables
- Knowledge of FLSA, state wage laws, and ACA compliance
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
