Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll bi-weekly using ADP Workforce Now, ensuring 100% accuracy and timely distribution
- Manage tax filings, garnishments, and compliance for CA and multi-state operations
- Administer 401(k) enrollments, deductions, and reconcile retirement contributions
- Conduct payroll audits and resolve discrepancies with employees and vendors
- Implement process improvements using payroll analytics and automation tools
- Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding and payroll-related benefits
- Maintain strict confidentiality and SOX compliance documentation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience with ADP Workforce Now
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification required
- Expert knowledge of CA labor laws, FLSA, and multi-state tax regulations
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and data validation
- Experience with HRIS systems and payroll integrations
- Proven track record of resolving complex payroll discrepancies
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder interactions
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
