Responsibilities
- Execute end-to-end payroll processing for multi-state operations using ADP Workforce Now
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and complex benefit reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations (CA, NV, OR)
- Lead payroll audits and implement process improvements
- Train and mentor junior payroll specialists
- Collaborate with HR on payroll system integrations and upgrades
- Generate payroll analytics for executive reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- ADP Workforce Now certification required
- Expert knowledge of CA payroll regulations and tax codes
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot table proficiency
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) designation preferred
- Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance procedures
- Proven ability to manage high-volume payroll operations
