Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and tax filings across 15+ jurisdictions
- Conduct payroll audits and reconcile discrepancies with precision
- Lead system upgrades and process improvements for payroll efficiency
- Collaborate with HR on onboarding/offboarding and benefits administration
- Prepare quarterly and annual payroll tax returns (Forms 941, 940)
- Train payroll staff on compliance updates and system functionalities
- Respond to payroll inquiries with exceptional client service
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- 5+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- Advanced proficiency with ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS
- Expert knowledge of FLSA, IRS, and DOL regulations
- CPP or FPC certification preferred
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience leading payroll system implementations
- Proficient in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and payroll reporting tools
