Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly multi-state payroll using ADP Workforce Now and ensure 100% accuracy
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and tax filings for federal, state, and local jurisdictions
- Conduct payroll audits and reconcile discrepancies with HR and finance departments
- Administer benefits enrollments, terminations, and COBRA processes
- Develop and maintain payroll policies compliant with FLSA and state regulations
- Collaborate with HRIS team to integrate payroll data with HR systems
Qualifications
- 5+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- ADP certification or equivalent payroll software expertise
- Deep knowledge of CA wage & hour laws and federal tax regulations
- Proficient in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and payroll reporting tools
- Proven ability to manage confidential employee data with discretion
- BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- CPP or FPC certification preferred
