Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal/state tax laws and FLSA regulations
- Manage year-end reconciliations and 1099/W-2 processing
- Oversee garnishment deductions and union payroll requirements
- Collaborate with HR on benefits administration and time-off policies
- Implement process improvements using Excel automation and Power BI
- Lead quarterly payroll audits and SOX compliance initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of multi-state payroll processing expertise
- ADP Workforce Now certification required
- Advanced Excel skills with VBA/pivot table proficiency
- Proven experience with payroll tax compliance (federal/state)
- Sarbanes-Oxley audit familiarity
- CPP certification preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail with zero-error tolerance
