Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 500+ employees across 7 states
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and wage adjustments
- Prepare payroll reports and tax filings (941, 940, state quarterly)
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries
- Maintain accurate payroll records and audit trails
- Collaborate with HR and finance departments on payroll initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll systems
- Strong understanding of FLSA, FICA, and state wage laws
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot tables
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
