Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for multi-state employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Verify and reconcile timekeeping data with HRIS systems
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and tax filings (federal/state/local)
- Prepare payroll reports for CFO and external auditors
- Respond to payroll inquiries with precision and confidentiality
- Implement process improvements for payroll efficiency
- Coordinate year-end W-2 distribution and 1099 processing
Qualifications
- 3+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll software
- Deep knowledge of FLSA, state wage laws, and tax regulations
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros)
- Associate's degree in Accounting/Business or equivalent experience
- PHR or CPP certification preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
