Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll for 500+ employees bi-weekly using ADP Workforce Now
- Calculate garnishments, bonuses, commissions, and overtime with 99.8% accuracy
- Manage year-end tax filings (W-2, 1099) and quarterly reconciliations
- Implement payroll process improvements reducing processing time by 15%+
- Resolve complex payroll discrepancies within SLA timeframes
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams on benefits administration
- Audit payroll records monthly for SOX compliance
- Train new payroll staff on system protocols and regulatory updates
Qualifications
- 3+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- ADP Workforce Now certification or equivalent expertise
- Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Familiarity with FLSA, DOL, and IRS regulations
- BS in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- Proven track record of reducing payroll errors below 0.5%
- Experience with garnishment processing and tax compliance
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
