Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly multi-state payroll for 200+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations (FLSA, FICA, WI DWD)
- Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare quarterly tax filings (941, 940, state unemployment)
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and employee benefit deductions
- Generate payroll reports for executive leadership and auditors
- Onboard new hires with payroll setup and documentation
- Collaborate with HR on timekeeping system integration
Qualifications
- 3+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll systems
- Deep understanding of FLSA, FICA, and Wisconsin payroll laws
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Associate's degree in Accounting/Business or equivalent experience
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality with sensitive employee data
