Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll for 150+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Calculate and garnish wages for tax levies, child support, and wage assignments
- Manage quarterly and annual payroll tax filings (941, 940, state unemployment)
- Reconcile payroll general ledger accounts with GL entries
- Administer employee benefits deductions and 401(k) contributions
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies with employees and management
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive employee financial data
Qualifications
- 3+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- ADP Workforce Now certification or equivalent system proficiency
- Advanced knowledge of FLSA, garnishment laws, and IRS regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and QuickBooks
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- PHR/SPHR certification or payroll certification (CPP) a plus
- Proven ability to meet strict payroll deadlines with zero errors
