Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable processes with precision.
- Assist in the monthly and year-end closing procedures, ensuring all journal entries are accurate.
- Prepare and reconcile bank statements, general ledger accounts, and financial reports.
- Support the finance team with budget preparation and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local financial regulations and company policies.
- Process payroll data and maintain accurate personnel files.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
