Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance RESTful APIs and web services using Node.js and Express.
- Architect scalable microservices and event-driven architectures to support rapid business growth.
- Optimize database queries and application performance, ensuring low latency and high throughput.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, DevOps, Product) to define API contracts and system design.
- Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and establish best practices for code quality and testing.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and containerization strategies using Docker and Kubernetes.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
- Deep understanding of asynchronous programming, event loops, and non-blocking I/O.
- Strong proficiency with modern web frameworks (e.g., Express.js, NestJS) and ORM libraries (e.g., TypeORM, Prisma).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with message brokers (RabbitMQ, Kafka) and real-time communication protocols (WebSocket, Socket.io).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex backend issues.
