Responsibilities
- Architect Neural UX: Design intuitive, low-latency interfaces for non-invasive BCI devices, ensuring seamless data visualization for neural feedback.
- Cognitive Modeling: Collaborate with neuroscientists to create models that predict and accommodate user cognitive load during high-stress data processing.
- Prototyping: Develop high-fidelity interactive prototypes using WebGL and advanced simulation tools to test neural pathways before deployment.
- Ethical Compliance: Implement strict data privacy and ethical guidelines to ensure user consent and data security in neural recording.
- Usability Research: Lead user testing sessions to refine interaction paradigms for the 2026 consumer release.
- Technical Documentation: Create comprehensive design systems and API documentation for the integration of neural inputs into broader software ecosystems.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Neuroscience, Cognitive Psychology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design, specifically within the tech, robotics, or medical device sectors.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, C++, and modern frontend frameworks (React, Three.js) for 3D data visualization.
- Knowledge Base: Deep understanding of BCI hardware, signal processing, and neural encoding/decoding principles.
