Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain high-availability cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) capable of handling peak global traffic loads.
- Lead disaster recovery planning and cybersecurity protocols to safeguard sensitive tournament data and fan information.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IoT solutions for stadium operations and fan engagement.
- Optimize network performance and latency across distributed venues and remote viewing platforms.
- Mentor junior engineers and establish best practices for scalable, resilient system architecture.
- Oversee vendor management for third-party infrastructure providers and ensure SLA compliance.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, DevOps, or Network Architecture.
- Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or Go).
- Experience with large-scale event infrastructure or high-traffic web platforms.
- CI/CD pipeline mastery using Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills under pressure with a commitment to operational excellence.
- U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required for security clearance.
