Responsibilities
- Lead Architecture: Design and implement robust, scalable AI architectures for Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI applications.
- R&D Leadership: Spearhead research initiatives to explore new frontiers in AI, specifically focusing on advancements expected by 2026.
- Model Optimization: Fine-tune and optimize pre-trained models for specific business domains to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Deployment & MLOps: Oversee the end-to-end deployment pipeline, ensuring models are production-ready, monitored, and maintained using modern MLOps practices.
- Collaboration: Partner with product managers and data scientists to translate complex technical requirements into actionable development strategies.
- Code Review & Mentorship: Provide technical leadership through rigorous code reviews and mentorship for junior engineers and data scientists.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years specifically focused on AI/ML or Natural Language Processing (NLP).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, or TensorFlow; experience with Hugging Face Transformers and LangChain.
- System Design: Deep understanding of distributed systems, cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure), and API design.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
