We are seeking a visionary Senior Generative AI Engineer to help us architect the next generation of Large Language Models (LLMs). As we look toward 2026, the demand for reliable, scalable, and efficient AI systems is skyrocketing. In this role, you will be at the intersection of research and production engineering. You will own the full lifecycle of our AI models, from initial research and fine-tuning to deployment in high-throughput production environments. Responsibilities
- Model Architecture & Training: Design and implement state-of-the-art transformer architectures and fine-tune large foundation models (e.g., Llama 3, Mistral) using PyTorch and TensorFlow.
- RAG & Retrieval Systems: Develop and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation pipelines to minimize hallucinations and ensure factual accuracy in real-world applications.
- Performance Engineering: Reduce inference latency and optimize memory usage to handle millions of requests per day with sub-second response times.
- MLOps & Deployment: Build robust CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployment strategies (Docker, Kubernetes) for our AI workloads on cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
- Data Strategy: Curate high-quality datasets and collaborate with data scientists to implement Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF).
- Technical Leadership: Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and establish best practices for AI engineering within the organization.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in software engineering or data science, with at least 2 years of specialized experience in Generative AI or NLP.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep expertise in Python, PyTorch, and modern LLM frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex).
- Infrastructure: Strong experience with cloud computing (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and distributed systems.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
