Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop and communicate strategic foresight frameworks through executive briefings, white papers, and immersive workshops
- Collaborate with R&D and product teams to integrate future insights into innovation roadmaps and go-to-market strategies
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers to forecast emerging opportunities
- Translate complex future scenarios into quantifiable risk assessments and strategic recommendations for C-suite leadership
- Design and implement foresight methodologies including scenario planning, Delphi studies, and system dynamics modeling
- Drive organizational adoption of future-ready capabilities through change management and culture transformation initiatives
Qualifications
- Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurism with Fortune 500 or high-growth tech firms
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology) and their societal implications
- Exceptional ability to synthesize complex data into compelling narratives and actionable strategies
- Experience facilitating executive workshops and presenting to C-level audiences on transformative trends
- Published thought leadership in futures research or technology forecasting (e.g., IEEE, World Future Society)
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies including STEEP analysis, cross-impact matrices, and causal layered analysis
