- Produce quarterly horizon scanning reports identifying paradigm-shifting innovations
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for Fortune 500 clients on post-quantum security
- Design ethical frameworks for autonomous systems integration in critical infrastructure
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype future-state user experiences for metaverse platforms
- Mentor junior futurists in advanced trend analysis methodologies
- Present strategic briefings to executive stakeholders and industry consortia
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, consulting, or R&D leadership
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Published research on exponential technologies (quantum, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Proficiency in trend analysis tools (Gartner, Forrester, custom ML models)
- Experience with cross-industry scenario planning methodologies
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., WFS, APF) preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful 5-year predictions
- Security clearance eligibility for government contract work
